Ricklefs Commits to University of Manitoba, News (Thunder Bay Women's Hockey Association)

THUNDER BAY, ON — Jamie Ricklefs will be joining her Sportop Midget AA Queens teammate, Molly Kunnas, as a University of Manitoba Bison for the 2019-20 season. Ricklefs committed to U of M earlier this month and for her, it sounds like it was an easy choice, "I'm excited to be a Bison!" Jamie exclaimed "They have a strong hockey program with great coaching staff. The University of Manitoba offers an opportunity for a good education along with competitive hockey and it's close to home. I'm so excited to play at the next level and it just felt like the perfect fit for me and my future."

Ricklefs will finish out her Midget career playing for the Sportop Queens in the 2018-19 season.
