Grosjean, Nicholl Goals Power Sportop Queens Past Banff, News (Thunder Bay Women's Hockey Association)

WINNIPEG, MB — The Sportop Midget AA Queens are off to the semi-finals at the Female World Sport School Challenge following a victory over Banff Hockey Academy. Dayna Doucet opened scoring for Thunder Bay early in the first but Banff would answer back with two quick goals. Kaylee Grosjean and Vanessa Nicholl would score a pair of goals each, powering the Queens to a 5-2 victory while goaltender Makenna Burke turned aside 26 pucks.

The Queens will get a second shot at St Mary’s, who they lost 3-0 to earlier in the tournament, in the semi-final at 3:15pm.
