WINNIPEG, Man. – A Lyndsey Janes goal eight minutes into the third period proved to be the decider as the Thunder Bay Sportop midget AA Queens were edged 2-1 by the Notre Dame Hounds of Saskatchewan in Day 2 play Friday at the World Sports School Challenge in Winnipeg, Man.
Thunder Bay did get off to a solid start, notching the night’s opening tally two and a half minutes into the contest on a Karadyn Kiviaho tally.
