Bantam A & peewee Queens conclude play at Westfort Fall ClassicTHUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Thunder Bay Tim Hortons bantam A’s as well as the peewee Queens wrapped up play at the Westfort Rangers Keating Insulation Fall Classic Saturday at the Tournament Centre.
Both clubs suffered identical 4-1 setbacks in their fourth and final games with the bantams falling to the Norwest Stars while the peewees were defeated by the Westfort Maroons.
Each team was competing in the boys’ peewee AA division of the tourney.
Scoring for the bantams was Gabriella Andreacchi with Kyra Otway picking up an assist.
Ella Mannila notched the lone marker for the peewees as she finished off a feed from Jerzie Crocker.
Reese Keating turned in a solid performance in goal facing 36 shots along the way.
Both clubs are back on the tournament trail next weekend as they travel to Blaine, Minn., to compete in the All-American Girls Tourney.
