2-3 Ice times per week starting in September
House League play with U7/U9 combined teams
Adherence to Hockey Canada U7/U9 development guidelines
Participation in local jamborees plus potential interlock games with Nipigon Elks U7/U9 team
Opportunity to tryout for Fury Development Program in September after House League teams are formed
Fury development program is supplementary to house league and gives girls opportunity for advanced skill development and U11 prep

The Ontario Women’s Hockey Association (OWHA) is implementing the Green Armband Initiative this season. This initiative is for on-ice officials under the age of 18 and draws attention to OWHA coaches, parents and other game participants that the Official wearing it is a minor.

Are you passionate about hockey? Do you want to be a part of the action while making a difference in the game? The Thunder Bay Women’s Hockey Association (TBWHA) is looking for women (and men!) to become on-ice officials!
