U11 House, JR (Thunder Bay Women's Hockey Association)

WELCOME TO TBWHA U11 Program

The format of the U11 program for the 2025-2026 season will be determined by registration numbers with the intent of trying to create a fun experience for the girls. In the event that there are not enough girls to support multiple house teams, we will look to other playing opportunities for house girls which may include play against other leagues/associations or some out of town travel. At this time 2-3 ice times per week starting in September are expected along with participation in at least two tournaments.

The Ontario Women’s Hockey Association (OWHA) is implementing the Green Armband Initiative this season. This initiative is for on-ice officials under the age of 18 and draws attention to OWHA coaches, parents and other game participants that the Official wearing it is a minor.

Are you passionate about hockey? Do you want to be a part of the action while making a difference in the game? The Thunder Bay Women’s Hockey Association (TBWHA) is looking for women (and men!) to become on-ice officials!
