WELCOME TO TBWHA U18 Program

The format of the U18 program for the 2025-2026 season will be determined by registration numbers with the intent of trying to create a fun experience for the girls. At this time, the Junior Division is anticipating that there may be only enough girls to support one stand alone house team. While all local avenues will be explored, in this situation the team will likely need to travel and attend tournaments. More information will follow once available. The Junior Division season, including U18 programming, will start in September 2025.

The Ontario Women’s Hockey Association (OWHA) is implementing the Green Armband Initiative this season. This initiative is for on-ice officials under the age of 18 and draws attention to OWHA coaches, parents and other game participants that the Official wearing it is a minor.

Are you passionate about hockey? Do you want to be a part of the action while making a difference in the game? The Thunder Bay Women’s Hockey Association (TBWHA) is looking for women (and men!) to become on-ice officials!
