Tammy Reynolds
Tammy Reynolds is an active member of the Thunder Bay Women's Hockey Association and has coached, played and been involved since its inception in 1985. With a passion for community and sports, Tammy brings her experience and enthusiasm to TBWHA, having served in many positions on the TBWHA board as well as previously serving as the Northern Director for OWHA. She is currently a coach facilitator and Coach Evaluator for OWHA and Hockey Canada, and recently coached at the Ontario Summer Games in Mississauga serving as head coach. She is dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all players. Outside of hockey, Tammy is a retired police officer, an art therapist, and the owner of North Superior Art Therapy Services. She enjoys spending her free time playing in the community band, walking her dog, and camping in the summer as well as playing hockey in the senior division. Tammy's commitment to community engagement and her diverse background makes her a valued member of TBWHA.Kaija Riabov
Kaija is born and raised in Thunder Bay. She has a daughter who plays U13 and has enjoyed watching her daughter and all her teammates grow into passionate hockey players over the past few seasons. Her daughter’s love of the game has given her the desire to volunteer and help the TBWHA become a place where all girls and women can enjoy and excel at hockey.
Other interests for Kaija and her family include skiing, softball, soccer and camping.
Kaija is excited to be on the Board and serve her first year as the Secretary of the Executive Board.Chantal Keating
Chantal Keating is a dedicated community volunteer with a strong focus on youth and competitive hockey. Currently serving as the Vice President of Competitive for the Thunder Bay Queens within the TBWHA since January 2023, Chantal takes pride in supporting the development of both young female and male athletes in the community. Prior to this position, she served as Competitive Board Treasurer for 5 years. Chantal took an active role in the hockey community by first serving as team manager for numerous minor hockey programs at all ages, including the Thunder Bay Queens and Thunder Bay Kings. Beyond hockey, Chantal co-chaired the Victorian Order of Nurses' Girl’s Day Out Annual Charity Golf Tournament from 2012 to 2017, raising crucial funds for community programs supporting seniors and also served on the planning committee for the Canadian Mental Health Association's "Styles and Smiles" from 2009 to 2014, helping to raise awareness and funds for mental health initiatives in Thunder Bay. Chantal spent over a decade as a Board Member for Novocentre, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting francophone individuals in Northern Ontario through training and employment programs. Outside of volunteering, Chantal is a graduate of Lakehead University with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree and has recently retired after 26 years of working in the construction industry and enjoys travelling to see and support her children as they pursuit their dreams and aspirations. Throughout her many roles, Chantal has made a meaningful impact on her community by promoting health, education, and athletic excellence with a genuine desire to empower the next generation to give back, fostering a culture of service and leadership within the community.Sarah Cockerton
Sarah Cockerton was introduced to hockey in her youth when she joined one of the very first all girls’ teams in the small town near where she lived. She played as one of the few goalies in the region for a number of years, eventually coaching other goalies. She also played and coached Rugby for a period of time. Sarah has an HBSc in Water Resource Science and professionally she has worked to support First Nation communities for over fifteen years. Sarah believes in honesty and fairness and tries to build valuable opportunities for all people in whatever she does. Sarah, her husband and their four daughters live on rural property with their horses, sheep, sheepdogs, livestock guardian dogs, chickens and geese.Diana Kraag
My name is Diana Kraag, casual SSP with the Lakehead District School Board and bookkeeper for TK Investments.
Mother to two children, a ten year old daughter that plays hockey for the Thunder Bay Queens and an 8 year old son that plays hockey for the Westfort Rangers.
It is because of my children’s passion for hockey and my passion for sports growing up that I have become more involved with the Thunder Bay Women’s Hockey Association.
